back to the veggie story, Alhamdulillah, mama tak perlu pening2, Qistina is a big fan of veggies. good girl! aku pun suka gak makan veggies ni, but i will pick only those yang tak pahit. ulam ulaman sah2 tolak tepi. qistina, i'm not sure whether she's also a picky one, but i hope not. so far, aku tgk dia suuuuuka sangat brocolli, cauliflower, carrot, sawi, bayam, potato (potato sayur ke.hehehe). tomato pun ok gak, sebab aku selalu letak dalam macaroni.
since Qis having no problem with veggies, so aku tak payah nak creative hias2 bagai. senang keja. masak sayur simple je, pun habis sepinggan Qis makan. tak caya, tgk nih.....
simple kan. senang dimasak sodap dimakan. ni Qis punya favourite nih. by the way, sebelah tu ubat batuk Qis. Qis baru je baik batuk
seb baik dulu aku selalu masak bubur kat Qis. kira bubur tu at least kena ada satu jenis sayur la. nestum or other baby food yang dalam tin2 tu memang qis tak layan punya. maybe sebab tu dia takde masalah nak makan sayur kut. so, sekarang ni, aku tgh train Irfan pulak, so far so good. good boy! hopefully both anak mama suka makan sayur ye sampai bila2.
so, korang if baby yang still kecik2 tu, mungkin boleh start train siap2. so senang keja kita di kemudian hari. hehehe. but for those yang ada problem tu, the following tips might help:
1. Set a good example - so, mak2 and ayah2 semua, jom kita makan sayur ramai2. just make a simple rule, one day at least one veggie. aku pun tgh try buat macam tu. kantoi gak kekadang. paling koman pun, if out of stock, mix veggie pun ok gak kan. goreng ngan telur ke
2. Take it easy. “Pushing your child to eat vegetables almost always backfires,” - tak payah nak paksa2. it will make it even worse, nanti terus dia tak suka langsung. if dia nak luah, biarkan aje. kadang2 qis pun ada luah2 gak. ikut mood jugak mek nih:) just keep trying everyday. bila dah lama2 nanti, dia tgk benda tu sentiasa ada dalam pinggan dia, dia pun makan jugak nanti
3. Keep it simple - hehe.. yang ni aku suka. sebab aku ni tak creative bab2 masak nih
4. Get your kids involved - try to create excitement time makan tu. like main pilih2 calour ke (veggies ni kan colourful), main teka2 nama veggies tu ke. apa2 la, yang nampak seronok for your child. this one works for Qis:)
marilah sama2 kita berusaha ye to create healthy eating habits....
